Well, I have both good news and bad.

The good news(I hope) is that i'm going to be posting more here, since I will finally start the new gig at IAP tomorrow. Additionally, I'm told by people (read: managers) AT IAP that they have both seen and enjoyed this page. I hope that trend continues when im writing about you instead of the IRS. Heh.

The Bad news is that i'm going to have to seek another forum. Diaryland is moving so slow that I can't deal with it anymore. I'll be shifting both this and my other blog to some other service, possibly (shudder) live journal or something similar. While I do have a dreamhost account right now, I don't know how much longer I'll have it, so I doub't I'll move this to there. We'll see.

In the mean time, I more than likely will make a few more posts before the official move, using diaryland's ever slowing servers. It took me almost seven MINUTES to update my other journal the other day. That is goddamn crazy.

I will of course set up some kind of redirect from here to the new location.

Because trust me, I'll have lots to post about. After six months (back up if you missed the last post) I'll be starting at the new company, and already i've been told the wrong date several times, and been moved to three different departements before i've even started. Im beginning to think they don't like me.

I would be more paranoid about it, except that they've done it to everyone else too.

I heard a rumor the other day from an IRS contact (yes, I still have friends over there, even though i'm a "traitor" with IAP) that two of the file centers taken over by IAP six months ago have not been going well and are failing. I can't back this up, since i've lost access to contacts at other centers now that IAP has replaced everyone. If I had been smarter before all of this happened, I would have gotten the offsite email of a few of the people that I knew were going to stick around after the switch. But I didn't, and obviously their IRS .gov email doesn't work anymore, just like mine. Sometimes i'm a giant idiot.
