Well, its official. As of today (the end of today actually) I am no longer working for the IRS. I decided to take some time off before I started with Hallibu.. I mean, IAP.
How much time is still in question. I was told when I was hired that we would be starting on the 27th, which gives me about two weeks of downtime. But lately i've been hearing rumors that the time would be pushed back as late as January first, which would be about a month and a half. I may have made a grievous error here, we'll see.
The really depressing ironic bit is that even after my wonderful off time, I'll still be going back and doing the exact same job. whee. I'm hoping that the IAP wackiness will be entertaining enough to keep myself from going insane.
It will certainly be an experience, either way. And of course I'll document the whole thing here, so that you all can laugh at my pain.
